Dark, otherworldly imagery for ATLiens, spanning the Space Cathedral EP, related singles and moving visuals. The collection treats each image as an opening into a larger environment.
The concept
The work draws its tension from scale and unfamiliar surroundings. Architecture, darkness and science-fiction imagery create places that feel expansive and difficult to fully read at first glance. Purgatory and Obsidian Vortex sit within that wider atmosphere, each giving a different shape to the project’s world.
Developing the world
Across release artwork, promotional pieces and tour visuals, the visual direction stays focused on immersion. A cover offers one concentrated view; a moving piece has time to reveal more of the environment or intensify a detail. The collection below brings those formats together so the relationship between the still images and live visual work is visible. The emphasis is on a coherent atmosphere that can support multiple tracks and different encounters with the artist.
These two masked producer/DJ’s have carved their own unique sound within the dance music genre. With multiple commissioned projects created for them; I have tried to create unique visual work that pairs with each remarkable vision they present me with.
